Continuum is launching the Different Track Recordings label in March, 2018. (This will take over the former “Soup & Sound Recordings” label). The new Different Track website is currently in development.
Continuum provides recording services both at our home and on location.
COOPERATIVE SOUND 1, 2, & 3
The Argentinian label, Nendo Dango, released 3 recordings featuring musicians from Buenos Aires (pianist Paula Shocron and percussionist Pablo Diaz) and New York (horn players Matt Lavelle, Ras Moshe, Daniel Carter, and bassist Hill Greene). This was made possible by the Continuum Recording, Artist Residency, and International Cultural Exchange programs.
“BEST OF 2015!”
The first two cds on the SOUP & SOUND RECORDINGS label—Andrew Drury’s Content Provider (S&S 50001) and The Drum (S&S 50002)–were selected in several “Best of 2015” lists including the “Top Ten CDs of 2015” by Andrey Henkin of the New York City Jazz Record.
The SOUP & SOUND RECORDINGS label documents the music Continuum supports and makes it available to a global audience in various forms.
SOUP & SOUND RECORDINGS is preparing to release dozens of recordings from Andrew Drury’s personal archive dating back to 1988. These include unreleased studio sessions, live performances, private sessions, SOUP & SOUND House Concerts, Drury’s digital collage recordings, and more. Featured are many well-known, and underknown, greats. More information will be announced as plans solidify.
